Hi all!

Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s 2020!

If you’re new to my blog, WELCOME! If you’ve followed my blog for a while, SORRY FOR THE WAIT! I took some time off from updating my blog to…LIVE. While I haven’t updated my personal blog much, I haven’t stopped writing and inspiring. Check out the featured page of my site for guest posts. I’m super excited about being a monthly contributor to the Young Survival Coalition blog as well as Millennials on Purpose.

During my blog “break” I also authored a children’s book entitled, “What’s Going on with Mommy?” This book was inspired by my breast cancer journey. During the time of my diagnosis, my two boys were 9 and 2 years old. One of the biggest challenges I faced during my diagnosis was how to explain what was going on to my children.

I also hosted my first breast cancer event, Purpose Painted Pink, with my mother. The event was awesome and featured some of my amazing survivor sisters who shared their stories.

I’m so excited to jump back into my blog in 2020! My mother and I recently authored a book entitled “Self Exam” and we’ll be officially releasing the book THIS month! We are so excited to share the book with everyone and we even designed a t-shirt in celebration.

In the book, my mother and I share our breast cancer stories, but we also share our faith. Faith was not only a big part of our fight against breast cancer but our daily lives.

So much life has happened since my last post. There have been so many ups and downs, but I’m still standing, still here on purpose, and looking forward to sharing!
